Dr. Brust has been my primary care doctor ever since I moved to bend permanently more than ten years ago. I have never had a doctor with greater medical knowledge, nor one more committed to patient service. When I wrenched a knee skiing several years ago, I decided to drop into her office to have it checked coming down from Mt. Bachelor. She saw me immediately, tested my knee, called an orthopedic friend, and told me “let’s go.” She closed her office, drove me to the orthopedist’s office and got me right in, all without an appointment. That level of expertise, caring and service is without peer.

I’ve been seeing Evie for about 4 years now. I contacted her when I saw an article in the Bulletin about her work with Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. After seeing Dr. Brust for the first time, I realized that she knew so-o-o much about this process. The difference in how I felt physically and mentally was quite amazing (I’m now 62 years old and feel better than I did at 40). Dr. Brust and I have “honed” the medications down to about as perfect as I think it can get. It is not a quick process however, as the body changes continually so does the dosages of the hormones. It can be frustrating at times but Dr. Brust is so knowledgeable on this subject and so willing to spend the time to work with each individual, that we eventually get things dialed in and life is wonderful. I have nothing but great things to say about her and her practice. She cares, takes the time to educate you on what is going on in your body and why the body reacts to things the way it does and takes the time to get to know you. I find these qualities a rarity now a days when it comes to health and doctors. For my money and time Dr. Brust is one of best things that has happened to me. God forbid she should ever decide to re-locate, it would cost me a fortune to go see her but I definitely would – she’s that good!!

Dr Brust really introduced me to the concept of bioidentical hormones. She really helped me understand everything, and she makes me feel very comfortable. She stays on top of everything. Her approach is all natural and includes close monitoring. Shes the only one in bend who does everything I need. She can do B12 shots. Between the hormones and her looking out for me i’ve put on 6 pounds of muscle in the past year.
